The company is a world leader in developing these synthetic ligand-binding assays and has recently applied the technology in a new field: the rapid detection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (TB).

Microsens has adapted the polymeric ligand technology to bind Mycobacterium tuberculosis cells with high affinity.
